Costello Roquero video release w/special guest Patricia Vonne @10:00pm – $10 at the door @9:00pm. No advance tickets. 21+ only.
Costello Roquero is a new band born from executive producer Paolo Pagetti’s idea. He listened to Alex Ruiz and Rick del Castillo playing Parla più piano (theme from The Godfather by Coppola) live in Austin, Texas. After that he thought he would have them playing italian vintage songs from the 60s and 70s. This idea was meant to give new shape to the classical Italian songs, thanks to the new approach of these artists who never listened to this music before.
The album Paradiso Y Infierno – to be released in December – owes his sound to the thorough and passionate work of Rick del Castillo. His interpretation of the songs gives life to new passionate version, enhanced by Alex Ruiz’s voice.
Great musicians give further value to the album. First of all Robert Rodriguez – film director and passionate musicians – who plays his guitar and contributes to the video of Nessuno mi può giudicare . Great value comes from, among the others, Mark del Castillo and Patricia Vonne.
