Funk / Soul / Jazz experience from Michael Hale, the drummer behind Tameca Jones, Afrofreque, Chicken Strut, and most things cool in Austin. MHOT is a deep soul experience. The band consists of Michael Hale on drums & vocals, Dr Brian Pardo (Brother Jack McDuff alumnus) on guitar, Jon Deas (when not on tour with Gary Clark Jr) on organ. ATX own Terry Bowness is on organ when Jon is gone.
